Wanting/Needing Good Wishes My Way : )

        I am super excited and also super duper nervous about Thursday (the one that is the day after tomorrow).  Let me give you some background knowledge because as a rule Thursdays don't scare me.  : )   I am my school's teacher of the year this year.  It is an AWESOME honor!  I work in the best school in the world and with some extremely talented people so for them to choose me was beyond flattering.  OK, that being said I put together "the packet" as it is referred to here in my district and submitted it on December 1st, which I don't know about anyone else, but man that seems like a LONG time ago.  Anyway I heard on Friday that I made it into the top 25 for my district and now I am going to be observed by the teacher of the year committee.  They want to see me in action.  On one hand it is not a big deal I have already had a half a dozen visitors this year and many others in the past eight years of teaching . . . BUT on the other hand wow, lots of stress.  So if you have a minute and are thinking of me I will be observed this Thursday, yup the day after tomorrow, at 12:45-ish p.m. and I would REALLY appreciate your well wishes and prayers for a smooth lesson.  Thanks so much for "listening" I already feel a little bit better about this.  : )
